Burna Boy, J Hus, Flavour, Black Sheriff, and Seyi Vibez are set to be headlining at the most highly anticipated Afro Nation festival which will be held in Lagos, Nigeria for the first time.

The festival is set to be a two-day event which will all take place on December 19 and 20, at the Tafawa Balewa Square in Onikan.

This isn’t Burna Boy’s first rodeo at Afro Nation Festivals, he headlined the 2023 Afro Nation Concert in Miami, and now, he’ll be bringing it back home to Nigeria. J Hus, the Gambian-British rapper is yet another talented headliner for the event, he’s made a name for himself in the UK Hip Hop scene, and now he’s bringing his incredible talent to the Afro Nation Festival for the very first time.

The festival lineup so far is impressive, from the legendary Flavour to the dynamic Seyi Vibez, and Ghanaian superstar, Black Sherif. This is only the first wave, and we can’t wait to see what the rest of the lineup has in store.

Afro Nation is one of the biggest festivals that shine a light on the magic that is Afrobeats and Afropop in all its entirety. The host of the 2023 Afro Nation Festival calleLagos the “home of Afrobeat.” So it’s only fair that the festival is finally being held in Lagos.

Afro Nation began its journey in 2013 after being founded by Obi Asika, and Smade. The premise of Afro Nation was to celebrate Afrobeat and to bring incredible artistes in Africa together, a feat we can say was achieved spotlessly.

Tickets for the long-awaited festival will be on sale from Thursday, September 28th, from 10 a.m., on the official Afro Nation Website.
