The Future Awards Africa Unveils Nominees Ahead of Its 17th Edition

The Future Awards Africa is back for its 17th edition, this year’s list of nominees are outstanding to say the least, and the theme for the year “Defying the odds, inspiring greatness”, is an accurate representation of all their hard work and resilience.

On Sunday, September 24, the long awaited list of nominees was announced by Tayo Faniran and Idia Aisien. The list of nominees is undoubtedly well deserved and filled with individuals who have gone against all odds to thrive in their individual fields. 

From the Guinness Record Breaker, Hilda Baci, to the Nigerian track and field star, Tobi Amusan. There’s a lot of notable names on this list that have, at one point or another, inspired the whole country with greatness. Other names you would be pleased to see are, Enioluwa Adeoluwa, Asake, Broda Shaggi, Laila Johnson Salami, Mike Folarin, and so on. 

The entire list of nominees cuts across 25 categories, with a total of 128 nominees, every single nominee deserving of the title, thanks to their dedication, and great passion in their field that has inspired young people everywhere.
