The casting of this series is elite, the storyline is high school but so much more refreshing.

In 1990s Northern Ireland during the Troubles, Derry Girls follows a group of Catholic schoolgirls, and James getting through adolescence in the most hilarious way possible. Derry Girls also tackles the sensitive political subject matter of that time, it blends in family, and the coming of age trope, all in one, in a light hearted manner. It’s the kind of sitcom that will actually have you laughing the whole time, and there are certain scenes that will remain engraved in your heart forever.
