It’s the second month of the year 2024, and things are heating up really fast in the entertainment department. There’s definitely no shortage of Nollywood flicks this month as movie makers are properly standing on business.
So, clear up your busy schedule and pencil in some of these titles coming your way this month. With any luck, they will keep you on the edge of your seats and keep you entertained the whole month through. Here’s a couple Nollywood titles you should watch out for in February 2024.
Dead Serious
If Sharon Ooja is starring in it, we’re totally there! This is an upcoming romantic comedy which is set to be released on February 9 in cinemas nationwide. The movie has been teased to be a romantic comedy with a bit of a dark twist as it stars a lot of your favorite actors and comedians, prepare to laugh your heart out and probably cry your eyes out as well.
I Love U Regardless
The Romcoms keep coming in, and we’re not even mad at it. I Love U Regardless is the kind of movie you’d want to see if you’re looking for something that takes a deep dive into the rollercoaster of relationships. It hits cinemas on february 9, starring Jide Kene Achufusi, Titi Joseph, Enyinna Nwigwe, Denrele Edun, Tina Mba, and others.
Flawsome
It’s official! Flawsome is coming back for its second season, this series follows the lives of four female friends as they navigate love and life in lagos. The second season promises to be as juicy as ever and as star studded as usual. Join Ifeyinwa, Ramat, Dolapo, and Movie on February 12, as they go through life in Nigeria together.
All’s Fair In Love
All’s Fair In Love is exactly how it sounds, if you want a love triangle type of movie, this is it. It follows business partners/ friends played by Timini Egbuson and Deyemi Okanlawon respectively as they battle it out for a woman they’ve both fallen in love with. This hits cinemas on Valentine’s day, it doesn’t get more lovey-dovey than that.
Cheta’M
Cheta’M is an epic, showmax original series that takes us back to the good old days, it is set in Igbo land and follows the do or die love between two teenagers, Adanna and Nnanna. Spiritual and political forces separate their beautiful love story and we can’t wait to see it unravel starting February 12.
Last Call
Last Call follows an OAP, Hauwa as she faces the most unprecedented series of events, she goes head to head with a psycho caller while she’s on air, and now she has to either answer questions about her dark past or lose someone she cares about. Last Call stars Zainab Balogun, Seun Ajayi, Valentine Ohu, and a host of other stars, expect it in cinemas nationwide on February 2.
Sadau Sisters
Sadau Sisters hits the world of Nigerian Reality TV, it follows famous Nigerian Actress, Rahama Sadau, who has starred in popular shows like Wrath and Revenge, Sons of the Caliphate, MTV’s Shuga, and so many others. The reality show follows the actress and her three sisters as they navigate life in a new home and city, the series will also follow religious and cultural beliefs as it relates to the Sadau Sisters, and also unravel family secrets. It all begins on February 12.
