June 2025 is upon us, and we’re steadily being fed with only the best of TV. It will be one busy month with several shows returning all through the month, and don’t get us started on the newly anticipated shows for June. For now, we’ll stick to our favourite shows returning, which could quite literally blow your mind.
You’re probably counting days till Ginny & Georgia Season 3 graces our screens with the most chaotic antics as usual, or maybe you’re a reality TV fan who is eager and waiting to be consumed by the Love Island universe, with new seasons of Love Island UK and Love Island USA well underway. Whatever the case, June is pretty much stacked with many fan favourite TV shows returning, and we’re biting our nails in anticipation. This list covers the top-most anticipated shows returning in June 2025, full disclaimer, we might be playing favourites.
The Buccaneers Season 2
The Buccaneers Season 2 might be the most anticipated Apple TV show returning on June 18. Apple TV+’s adaptation of Edith Wharton’s final novel, The Buccaneers, stole hearts with its first season, and it shall return this June with a second season. The show follows the most enchanting women who came from America to England to shake up the social scene by being unapologetically themselves. There are epic love triangles, messy relationships, royal drama and family drama.
Ginny & Georgia Season 3
Ginny & Georgia Season 3 has been highly anticipated since the last season ended, luckily for all fans. Ginny & Georgia Season 3 returns June 5 on Netflix. Season 3 of Ginny & Georgia has a lot to catch us up on. The last time we saw our favourite chaos queens, one half of the band, Georgia (Brianne Howey), was getting arrested at her fairytale wedding. Prepared to be surprised by some changes, not all the cast are exactly as they were the last time you saw them, they might have grown up while we were waiting, but the story must go on!
Love Island UK Season 12 and Love Island USA Season 7
This is what we call a double whammy, not only are we getting another season of Love Island USA, but also Love Island UK, and we’re sat. Love Island USA season 7 premieres June 3 and Love Island UK Season 12 follows close behind on June 9. Prepare your grafting boots as we await a whirlwind of reality drama, and hopefully chaos with the new Love Island seasons. Fingers crossed we get another unforgettable season that will knock us off our feet.
The Bear Season 4
Fans couldn’t get enough of the FX breakout series, The Bear, when it premiered in June 2022. It is raw TV entertainment, and truly one of its kind. Luckily for fans, a new season is upon us with Carmy and his chefs back on our screens. The Bear Season 4 will premiere on Wednesday, June 25, 2025, according to Hulu. All ten episodes will be released at once on Hulu, according to various sources.
Squid Game Season 3
Squid Game Season 1 was a worldwide hit, and for all the best reasons. It is a captivating show that keeps you on your toes the whole time. Which is why fans are eager to get their hands on a new season, especially with the cliffhanger we were left with. Netflix has officially released the trailer for the third and final season of Squid Game, confirming the highly anticipated global premiere for June 27. So mark your calendars because June has promised us many treats we just can’t say no to.
