The premiere of one of the most highly anticipated movies of 2023, Barbie, directed by Greta Gerwig is finally here, the pink carpet in London featured major stars of the movie turning heads in the most stunning looks, from Margot Robbie, to Issa Rae, Simu Liu, and so many others, there was no shortage of absolutely stunning looks.
The same can’t be said for the Nigerian premiere of the Barbie movie, there were a couple fails here and there according to people on the internet streets, but we can’t help but fawn over some of our favorite looks that had us doing a whole 360.
Meanwhile, in South Africa, Warner Music Africa hosted stars in what is arguably the most anticipated and well marketed celebration of the Barbie movie, the SA stars didn’t disappoint, and it’s safe to say that these Barbie looks from SA and Nigeria stood out for one reason or the other, let's check them out, shall we?
Hilda Baci and Enioluwa

Hilda stunned in her elegant, baby pink ensemble, while Enioluwa showed off his taffeta look, this just goes to show that men can effortlessly wear pink too.
Faith Nketsi and Andzelo Tivani
Faith Nketsi // IGThese South African reality stars ate and left no crumbs, they turned up while giving Barbie and Ken a whole new meaning, we can all agree that their dazzling look turned a lot of heads, From Faith Nketsi’s bedazzled matching crop jacket and skirt, to Andzelo Tivani’s baby pink suit, surely they could easily be our real life Barbie and Ken.
Idia Aisien

From the lush pink ball gown to her silver accessories that gave it that extra oomph, we loved how stunning Idia Aisien looked in her barbie-princess dress, and to top it all off, she left us spoiled for choice when she whipped out the statement bow-headpiece that added a little extravagant touch to her entire outfit.

Yomi VisualsDiane Russet gave Barbie in Blue a whole new meaning , her blue tulle dress stood out graciously on the pink carpet. The Big Brother star and award winner stunned in this ensemble, it featured a perfectly fit corset, a mono sleeve, and a ruffled design that was tiered to perfection.
Shai Lethabo

She rocked quite a unique look, everything from the fabric to the color and even her choice in accessories stood out from the regular glittery look. The simplicity and elegance of her Barbie outfit did a number on us and we’re all in awe, it’s her Barbie world, and we’re all just living in it.

Snapp CodeTomike Adeoye as Western Barbie, or should we say Cowgirl Barbie is everything, and then some more. She completely slayed as this version of Barbie, and we can say without a doubt that she did her homework and gave it life. Her Western Barbie ensemble was paired perfectly with a pretty necktie piece, the staple hat and accessories to match. The media personality stepped out of her comfort zone with this look, and we can say without a doubt that she totally nailed it.
