There are so many ways to stay healthy these days, whether that’s by eating healthy, incorporating more fruits into your diet, exercising, and then there’s wellness shots like this one.

This one in particular has people talking, it’s not a new recipe but a lot of people are sharing how well it’s worked for them, from helping with bloating, acne, weight loss, and even menstrual cramps.

This easy Ginger-Turmeric tea is made with fresh and simple ingredients, like the list says, you’ll need ginger, turmeric, honey, lemon, and some people even add in black pepper for good anti-inflammatory measure.

One thing is certain about this wellness shot, it has a variation of ingredients that are without a doubt healthy, it will help to boost your immune system, and it has health benefits that go on and on.

Ingredient List Breakdown

Little Sunny Kitchen
Ginger: Ginger is known to be an antioxidant with anti-inflammatory properties, it’s great when you have a cold, it increases dopamine and serotonin levels, it helps with nausea, and it is also known to provide some benefits for anxiety and depression.

Turmeric: Turmeric is a great ingredient for both your body and brain, it has a lot of scientifically proven health benefits because of its anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties. Studies show that it can improve the health of your heart, it also helps with arthritis and depression.

Honey: Honey is also an anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, antibacterial ingredient, but like anything else on this list, you have to remember that moderation is key.

Lemon: Lemon is a great addition to this shot because of the vitamin C it provides into the mix, it’s also great for aiding digestion, and hydration.

These ingredients all have properties that will have your body feeling refreshed from the inside, the key is to use moderate and equal amounts of lemon and ginger, and smaller amounts of turmeric and honey. Blend the mix with your juice mixer or whatever means you have available to you, make sure its at a juice consistency, and you're good to go.

You could also add black pepper and cayenne to the mix in the littlest quantity, this isn’t compulsory, but black pepper is known to activate the turmeric and the cayenne is perfect if you want to increase your metabolism and kill germs.

At the end of the day, these shots can help you start your day (see what we did there?) All you need is a shot of this on an empty stomach first thing in the morning and your skin and entire body will thank you for it.

Make it in small batches to ensure it’s freshness, and also keep it refrigerated, enjoy!
